Benita Galvan Guerra

Benita Galvan Guerra, born on the 16th of April 1944 in San Benito, Texas to her parents, Francisco L. Galvan and Teresa Alonzo Galvan, passed away on Saturday, the 20th of August 2016. She was seventy-two years old.
Her parents Francisco L. Galvan and Teresa A. Galvan, brothers Eustacio A. Galvan, Guillermo A. Galvan, sister Serapia A. Galvan, and in laws Marcos Guerra, Roberto Gil, Sylvia Galvan, and nephew Emilio A. Galvan  preceded her in death.
Survivors include her loving husband Guadalupe G. Guerra, children Tomas (Jessica) Guerra, Jorge (Anna) Guerra, Guadalupe (Adriana) Guerra III, and Luanna (Antonio) Sanchez. Her siblings Faustino (Diana) A. Galvan, Juanita Galvan Guerra, Cipriano (Gloria) A. Galvan, Victoria ( Jesus) Galvan Cervantes, Trinidad Galvan Gil, Apolonia (Gilberto) Galvan Rodriguez, Pedro Galvan, and one sister-in-law Celia Galvan.  She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, the 23rd of August 2016, beginning at 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday within the San Benito Funeral Home Chapel, 1400 West Highway 77, San Benito, Texas 78586.
Funeral mass will be held Wednesday, the 24th of August 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park.
