Beatriz Atkinson Ramos, 87, went to be with the Lord Saturday, August 27, 2016. She was born February 20, 1929 in Voth, TX to Juan Jose and Feliz Corona.
She is preceded in death by her husbands Santos Atkinson and Enrique Ramos, her parents, her brother Enrique Corona, and sisters Juanita Vega and Consuelo Atkinson.
Survivors include her children Alicia (Henry) Jimenez, Beatrice (Roel) Rodriguez, Hector (Camelina) Atkinson, and Cecilia (Rolando) Luna, 11 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Sisters Mercedes Gonzalez and Eglantina Amaya, and brother Juan Manuel Corona.
Grandma will always be remembered for her strength, courage, and unconditional love. Her family was her greatest joy in life.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Hector Atkinson, Raul Atkinson, Rolando Luna Jr., Samuel Atkinson, Roy Rodriguez, Rodger Rodriguez, and Roberto Luna.

Visitation will be held Monday, the 29th of August 2016, beginning at 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. Monday within the San Benito Funeral Home Chapel, 1400 West Highway 77, San Benito, Texas 78586.
Funeral mass will be held Tuesday, the 30th of August 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Benedicts, Catholic Church. Interment will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
