Barbara Musel Vanderulis Minor passed away January 6, 2015 in Harlingen.
Barbara was born January 4, 1933 in Philadelphia, PA to Cornelius Vanderulis and Eleanor Mary Vanderulis (Musel). She married Charles H. Minor on January 20, 1952. Barbara was the Rangerville reporter for the San Benito News and was also a telephone operator. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Rangerville, where she served as a Sunday school teacher, librarian, Clerk and Activities Director.
Barbara is survived by her husband Charles H. Minor; daughter, Laura Jean Minor of Harlingen; son Chuck Minor and his wife Tanya of La Feria; grandchildren Ariel Minor of Corpus Christi and Ashley Minor of La Feria; sister Eleanor Blott of Mission, TX and a host of extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Francis Vanderulis.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2014, 10:30 AM, at Rangerville Baptist Church with Rev. David Mann officiating. Burial services will be private.
