Barbara Idelle Bearrow

Barbara Idelle Bearrow, 83, of Brownsville passed away Monday, August 24, 2015 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville surrounded by her loving family.
She was born to the late Algie Leslie Ross and the late Leena Bell Ross, August 30, 1931 in Brownwood, Texas. Barbara married Jackie Newell Bearrow, May 31, 1952, Brownwood, Texas. Barbara and Jackie worked for Phillips Petroleum and lived in Fritch, Texas before retiring at River Bend, Brownsville, Texas.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Jackie Bearrow and two sons.
Son, Mike Bearrow and wife Linda of Norman, Oklahoma; Grandson Christopher Bearrow and wife Laurie Dernick and Great Grandsons Liam and Sam Bearrow of Houston, Texas; Grandson Matthew Bearrow and wife Tiffany of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and Grandson Jonathan Bearrow of Norman, Oklahoma.
Son, Pat Bearrow and wife Paulette of Manvel, Texas; Granddaughter Mandi Bearrow of Aransas Pass, Texas, and great grandchildren Xavier and Serenity Bearrow; Grandson Jaye Paul Barber and wife Lindsay of San Antonio, Texas.
Barbara has touched many lives over the years. She was the perfect hostess and was always willing to help anyone in need. She loved to play bridge, crossword puzzles, quick quips, and water exercises.
A memorial service for Barbara will take place on Friday, August 28, 2015 at three o’clock in the afternoon, with Reverend Gene Horton officiating within San Benito Funeral Home, 1400 West Highway 77, San Benito, Texas 78586. In lieu of flowers the family has ask that you make a contribution to a charity of choice or Rathgeber Hospitality House, 1615 12th Street, Wichita Falls, Texas 76301.
