BROWNSVILLE, TX. – Aurora G. Perez, age 82, originally from Brownsville, Texas, passed away suddenly at her residence in Richmond, Texas on Friday, May 23, 2014.
She was born in Harlingen, Texas on October 10, 1932.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Martin Gonzalez, and by her sister, Rosa Moody. Aurora is survived by her husband of 58 years, Victor M. Perez; by her children Nelda Perez, Victor Perez, Jr., Anna Lee Allen, and Daniel Perez; and by her five grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Joe Gonzalez, Enrique Gonzalez, Fred Gonzalez, Lupe Moody, and Santa George.
Visitation for Mrs. Perez will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2014, between the hours of 3:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M., with a prayer service scheduled for seven o’clock Tuesday evening.
A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, May 28, 2014, within the San Benito Funeral Home Chapel at the hour of ten o’clock in the morning. Interment will then follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.
