SAN BENITO, TX. – Arthur Palos, born on July 25, 1965 in Chicago, Illinois, died on Saturday night, July 11, 2015, at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Houston, Texas. He was 49 years old.
Arthur was a police officer with the San Benito Police Department since 2002, and was later appointed as the Warrant Officer. He loved serving his community and taking care of the local residents. The City of San Benito will miss him dearly and would like to extend their sincerest condolences to the family.
Survivors include his loving wife, Adriana Palos; daughter, Jacquelyn Lara; son, Pedro Lara IV; mother, Dolores Palos; sister, Maria Sanchez; and nephews Gaston Sanchez and Cruz Sanchez.
Visiting hours are today, Tuesday, July 14, 2015, beginning at one o’clock in the afternoon and concluding at nine o’clock at night, with a recitation of the holy rosary to begin at seven o’clock in the evening within the San Benito Funeral Home Chapel, 1400 West Highway 77, San Benito, Texas 78586.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at ten o’clock in the morning, in St. Benedict’s Catholic Church, 351 S. Bowie Street, San Benito, Texas 78586.
Committal services will then follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
