Arlene Ann Crosson

September 24, 1933 — January 30, 2016

HARLINGEN, TX. – On the 30th of January 2016, our beloved mother Arlene Ann Fenimore Crosson passed away at her residence with family by her bedside. Born on the 24th of September 1933, she lived a full life. She was eighty-two years old.

Arlene enjoyed fishing, spending time at casinos, working with plants, and loved animals, especially her baby, Missy. She loved to crochet and work with picture puzzles as well, but her greatest love was her family.

Her parents, William Zack Fenimore and Georgia Ann Dvorak; brother, Robert Lee Fenimore; sister, Shirley Fenimore; sons, John and Bill Wells; and grandson, SPC Darrell Wayne Shipp, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughters, Gina Shipp (Doyle) and Linda Bayard; son, Carl Wells (Lisa); fourteen grandchildren; and twenty-five great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours are on Tuesday, the 2nd of February 2016, beginning at one o’clock in the afternoon and concluding at eight o’clock at night, within the San Benito Funeral Home Memorial Stateroom, 1400 West Highway 77, San Benito, Texas 78586.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, the 3rd of February 2016, at two o’clock in the afternoon at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito.

Serving as pallbearers will be members of the family.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to do so may make contributions to either the American Cancer Society or The Humane Society, in memory of Arlene.
