Antonio M. Segura

Antonio “Tone” M. Segura, age 83, was called to heaven by our Lord on October 16, 2014. Tone was born on March 10, 1931 in San Benito, TX.
He is survived by his wife Altagracia, daughter Linda, grandsons Roger and Rigo Guerra, brother Gilberto (Maria), his sister in law Cecilia M. Segura and numerous nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents Martin and Manuela; sister Concepcion; brothers Felix (Amelia) and Martin (Cecilia).
Tone made the Segura family very proud of him when he received his pilot’s license. He took family members and friends for airplane rides around the valley area. He even took his mother once on an airplane ride.
Appreciation and thanks to Dr. Posada for his medical care and concerns for Tone. Also thanks to his nieces Licha Ana and Sandra for their support. Special thanks to our sister in law Cecilia who through many years has been a true friend to Tone. Thanks to the staff (Maria, Tracy, Chana, Angie and Senaida) of Sunshine Haven for loving care of Tone. Also to the staff of Caridad Hospice, especially to Dora and Jessica.
Visitation will be held from 12 noon to 9 p.m. with a holy rosary recited at 7 p.m., Friday, October 17, 2014 at San Benito Funeral Home. Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 18, 2014 at St. Theresa Catholic Church. Interment will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Roger Guerra, Rigo Guerra, JJ Segura, Felix Segura, Tony Rodríguez and Gilbert Segura Jr.
