Ann Owens Kwiatkowski

Ann Elizabeth Owens Kwiatkowski passed away unexpectedly at Seton Medical Center-Williamson in Round Rock, Texas on November 5, 2016.  She was born in the old Valley Baptist Hospital on February 16, 1955.  Ann attended Travis Elementary, Coakley Junior High and Harlingen High School; she was a class favorite and a Cardinal cheerleader. In 1974, she was named Algodon Queen.  Ann graduated from Southwest Texas State University with a B.S. in commercial art.  She then earned a M.S. in elementary education at Texas A & M Corpus Christi.  Ann married Tommy Kwiatkowski and they had one son, John Owens Kwiatkowski.  Ann and Tommy relocated from Corpus Christi to Georgetown, and have been restoring a historic downtown home.
Ann is the daughter of Catherine Buchanan Owens and the late Dr. John David Owens.  She is survived by her husband, Tommy; son, John; sister, Debe Wright; niece, Victoria Wright; mother-in-law, Mary Jo Kwiatkowski; sister-in-law, Patricia Rodarte; nephew, Carter Rodarte; and many kitties.
Services will be held at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home on Friday, November 11, 2016 at 2:00 PM.
