Anita Ortega, 71, entered into eternal rest on November 17, 2008. She is preceded in death by her brother, Guadalupe Ortega Jr and her sister, Andrea O. Juarez.
She is survived by her brothers. Roberto Ortega, Celso (Malen) Ortega, Eleno (Ester)Ortega Sr, and her sisters, Aurora (Ramon Sr +) Juarez, Marcelina (Marcelino) Marin, Dora Maria (J. Ricardo +) Gonzales, Adela (Taurino) Tostado, Oralia O. Robles, Ofelia (Alfredo) Torres, Matilde (Seferino) Rodriguez; numerous family nieces, nephews and friends. Pallbearers will be her nephews ,Michael Lucio Rodriguez, Victor Rodriguez, John Bruno Ortega, Ramon Juarez Jr, Ricardo Marin, Omar Juarez. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark A. Rodriguez, Francisco “Frank” Hernandez,Orlando Robles, Alejandro (Hando) Ortega, Justice Ortega, Jon Jon Ortega.Visitation will be on Tuesday November 18, 2008 from 1pm to 9pm at San Benito Funeral Home with a rosary at 7pm. Funeral services will be on Wednesday November 19, 2008 at 10am at the St. Helen Catholic Church in Rio Hondo. Interment will follow at Anaquitas Cemetery in Rio Hondo.
