Angelica, affectionately referred to as Angie or Ang, peacefully entered the Kingdom of Heaven on April 6, 2024.
She retired after almost 30 years of being a childcare provider where she made lifelong connections with all the children and families that she welcomed into her home.
Angie was a devoted mother, sister, and friend but all of that was secondary to the amazing grandmother she was. Her girls were her entire world and she loved them with all her being.
Angelica is survived by her daughters, Catherine (Patrick) Rodriguez, Christine (Michael) Evans, her granddaughters: Bella, Cailin, Lena and Reese, her brothers Rodolfo (Aurora) Solis, Rumaldo Solis, Rafael Solis and sisters Nidia (Secundino) Mata, Ninfa (Jaime) Ramirez, Flora (Eddie) Lozano and Estela (Aurelio) Garcia. She also leaves behind countless nieces and nephews who she loved and adored as her own children, her best friend of 53 years, Estela Perez as well as several friends that she created a lifelong bond with, and her newest pet companion “Toro”.
Angelica is preceded in death by her parents, Rodolfo and Catarina Solis, her brothers Arnoldo (twin), Ruben, Federico and Eleazar and sister Gloria Solis.
Her kindness and generosity knew no bounds. In addition to her giving nature, she had a talent for her quick remarks. Her humor and wit brought laughter to every gathering. Whether it be her words of wisdom, a delicious homemade meal or a cup of coffee and a front porch chat, she knew exactly what was needed to help you get through your tough day. She will be remembered as the glue that brought and kept us together and though she may no longer be with us physically, her memory will live on in the hearts of everyone who loved her.
