Angel G. Maldonado

Angel G. Maldonado, 84, of San Benito, TX went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 19, 2017. He was born September 25, 1932 in Las Flores, Texas. Angel was preceded in death by his parents Victor & Lucia Maldonado, His brothers Juan & Pedro, his sisters Manuela, Antonia, Olivia and Josephina. Left to cherish his memories will be his wife of 65 years Petra, his sons Angel, Jr., David, Daniel, and Ricardo, daughters Sylvia, Gloria and Alicia, Brothers Victor and Roberto, Sisters Ninfa and Olga 13 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Angel loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. He was a diehard fan of the Greyhound, Dallas Cowboys, New York Yankees and the Texas Longhorns. He never missed a Greyhound game. He will always be loved, remembered and will always be in our hearts. Pallbearers will be his great-grandsons: Victor Gaitan, Mark Puentes, Jacob De La Garza, Eric Gonzales, Daniel Maldonado, Jr. and Ricardo Maldonado, Jr. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 20th from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 21, 2017 at San Benito Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Greg Rangel will be officiating.
