Andrea H. Garza, 75, went to be with the Lord on October 19, 2010 surrounded by her family. Andrea was born May 23, 1935 in San Benito, Texas to Mr. and Mrs. Mauricio Hernandez.
She was preceded in death by her father Mauricio Hernandez and sister, Celia Barrientos.
She is survived by her husband Moises G. Garza, mother Antonia Hernandez, children, Cindy Garza (Lupita), Gloria Garza (Jesus) and Moises Garza, Jr.; brothers, Emilio Hernandez, Jesus Hernandez, Mauricio Hernandez, Jr.; grandchildren Crystal Garcia (Ralph ), Jennifer Lee ( Chad ), Chris Reyna ( Veronica ), Ricardo Espino Jr., and Hilarie Garza; great grandchildren Aaron Garcia Jr., Kayla Garcia and Alyson Andrea Bermudez, Ralph Bermudez Jr., Ares Mosley, Aden Reyna and Giovanni Reyna.
Andrea was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed family gatherings, especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her doors were always open to those in need. Andrea had a big heart and would brighten up anyone’s day. She will truly be missed by those who knew and loved her. We want to express sincere thanks to those who stood by her side as well as her husband, children and grandchildren during the time of her illness until the time she went with the Lord.
Visitation will be held on Friday October 22, 2010 at San Benito Funeral Home from 4:00 P.M to 9:00 P.M with a Holy Rosary to be held at 7:00 P.M.
Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday October 23, 2010 at 1:00P.M at St. Benedicts. Interment will follow at 2:00 P.M at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
