Anatolio “Nato” Gonzalez, 74, passed away on July 19, 2020 after a brief illness. He was born to Juan and Rosa M. Gonzalez on July 3, 1946 in Brownsville, Texas.
Anatolio enjoyed fishing, family gatherings, finding and restoring antiques, and he loved to watch wrestling. He was a Christian and of the Baptist faith.
Left to treasure Nato’s memory are his wife, Serapia Gonzalez; his children, Juan (Carmen) Gonzalez, Anatolio (Martha) Gonzalez, Jr., Armando (Dinora) Gonzalez, Noel (Marilu) Gonzalez, Maurilio (Irma) Gonzalez, Abram (Tomasa) Gonzalez, and Oscar (Amparo) Gonzalez; grandchildren, Isamel, Monica, Juanita, Joseph, Anita, Martha, Francis, Viri, Joel, Estevan, Julissa, Noel, Cristian, Kristina, Jose, Tino, Irma, Susan, Mario, Joniyah, Olivia, Allye, Amma, John, Oscar Jr., Jazmine, and Giselle; great-grandchildren, Kenedy, Natalia, Johnny, Edgar, Alexis, Juan Carlos, Sandra, Abigail, Daleyza, Janelly, Savanna, Malachi, Lauren, Christopher, Christian, Elissa, Leah, Arabella, Catalina, Ismael Jr., Crissy, Clair, Cassie, Eddie, Isabel, and Ruben.
Visitation will take place at San Benito Funeral Home on Sunday, July 26, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will take place at San Benito Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 27, 2020. Following the funeral service, Anatolio will be laid to rest at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Juan Gonzalez, Noel Gonzalez, Anatolio Gonzalez, Marilio Gonzalez, Armando Gonzalez, Abram Gonzalez, and Oscar Gonzalez.
