Alonso Sosa Trejo

Alonso Sosa Trejo, 30, died Saturday, July 4, 2020 from injuries sustained in a one-vehicle accident in Western, Nebraska.

He was born February 8, 1990 in Jalpan de Serra, Queretaro, Mexico.  Alonso was a graduate of San Benito High School and worked for T.I.C. Renewable Energy at the time of his death.  He was of the Catholic faith and a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in San Benito.

Alonso is survived by his daughters, Andrea and Aliyah Sosa; mother, Angela Trejo; brothers, Federico Martinez and Jose Noriega; cousins, Juan De Jesus Rodriguez Trejo, Ana Patricio Rodriguez Trejo, Michelle Rodriguez, and Giselle Esquivel.

Alonso’s family will receive friends and relatives on Sunday, July 12, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at San Benito Funeral Home.  A recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 7 o’clock on Sunday evening.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 13, 2020, 10:00 a.m., at St. Theresa Catholic Church.  Interment will follow at San Benito Memorial Park (San Benito City Cemetery).

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Jose Noriega, Federico Martinez, Juan De Jesus Rodriguez Trejo, Ana Patricia Rodriguez Trejo, Simon Lopez, and Benito Rodriguez.
