Alicia Conde Salinas, 70, died peacefully in her home on April 20, 2017 in San Benito, TX.
Alicia was born on February 9, 1947 in San Benito to Lupe H. & Maria G. Conde. She married Guillermo Salinas on February 3, 1968. Alicia’s passion was coordinating the CCD program for St. Joseph Catholic Church; positively impacting their CCD program and lives of all who participated. After a successful career as CCD coordinator, Alicia retired to happily care for her parents as their primary caregiver till their passing.
She will always be remembered as a phenomenal woman who touched, helped, and healed all those who were blessed to have known her.
Alicia is survived by her husband, Guillermo, their children, Theresa Villarreal (George), Mary Ann Salinas, Patricia Ann Salinas, and Laura Longoria (Cleo); her grandchildren Victoria Lozano (Lupe), Angelica & Georgeann Villarreal, Cristian Dante Zuniga, Bridgette Elizabeth & Chloe Isabella Longoria, & Madisen Faith Trevino; her great grandchildren Delilah and Kora Lozano; brother Juan Pablo Conde (Tyra); and many nieces and nephews who will miss “Aya”.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at San Benito Funeral Home on Sunday April 23, 2017, with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
A funeral mass is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 24, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, San Benito.
