Alicia Bustillos, 61, passed away on March 27, 2013 in Houston, Texas after a battle with liver cancer.
Alicia was born May 5, 1951 in Harlingen, Texas to Fidencio Villela and Soledad G. Villela. She was a member of St. Anthonys Catholic Church. Alicia was dedicated to her family and enjoyed walking and reading.
She is survived by her husband, Israel Bustillos of Harlingen, TX; her children, Israel Jr. (Wendy), David, Michael, Eric, Stephen and Christopher Bustillos; grandchildren, Kayla, Adrian and Mia Bustillos; her mother, Soledad G. Villela; sisters, Raquel, Isabel, Jovita (Edward), Olga, Rosa (Tony) and Angelica; brothers, Fidencio Jr., Joe (Esther), Ruben, Daniel (Rachel); and seven nieces and four nephews.
Alicia was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Inez and Jovita Villela; maternal grandmother, Maria Valeriana Gutierrez; and her father, Fidencio Villela.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 31, 2013 from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 pm at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home.
The funeral procession will depart Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home on Monday, April 1, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Harlingen. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in La Feria.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude’s Children Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
