Alice Mary Jo Hedgecock, 69, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 8, 2009. She was a lifelong resident of Rio Hondo, Texas where she enjoyed gardening, bird watching, crafting and family.
She was preceded by her parents Ivan & Emma Cockrell and brother, Don Cockrell.
She is survived by her husband, Pete Edward Hedgecock; two sons Wallace and Jerry, and daughter-in-law Natascha Hedgecock; as well as brother, Frankie Cockrell of Houston.
Family & friends are welcome to visit Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home on Thursday, April 9 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. for viewing with the family present from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Graveside services will be at 10 am on Friday, April 10, 2009 at the Rio Hondo City Cemetery with Pastor Chris Edge officiating.
