Alice Margaret Mary Haake (nee Leng), 86, of Harlingen, Texas (formerly of Lake County, Illinois) passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2011.
She was born October 21, 1924 in Grayslake, Illinois and had been a longtime resident of Lake County. Mrs. Haake traveled extensively with her husband following his retirement and has lived at Golden Palms Retirement and Healthcare Center in Harlingen for the past 22 years.
She is survived by her daughter Susan (Richard) Masters of Hendersonville, TN, two grandchildren Erik (Melissa) Parks of Wilmette, IL and Kathleen “Kelly” (Daniel) Snoek of Chicago, IL and two great grandchildren Jack Parks and Rachel Snoek.
She was preceded in death by her husband George and sons Martin Haake and Michael Haake.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
