Alice M. Conley, 98, passed away October 6, 2015 at Atrium Place in Harlingen.
Alice was born July 2, 1917 in Minugs, Texas to William M. Bandy and Annie Higgs. She married Ezekiel Shelton Conley. Alice was employed with Hygeia Dairy Company and retired in 1980. She was a long-time member of the First Church of The Nazarene in Harlingen. Alice wrote poetry to our great delight and loved animals.
She is survived by her nephew Larry Danley and wife Mary, other nephews and nieces and friends.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband Ezekiel Shelton Conley and daughter, Frances Gothhardt.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 16, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 17, 2015, at 9:00 a.m., at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito with Pastor Mel Justice officiating.
