A.C. Hoehne, 76, passed away Monday, November 25, 2013 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.
A.C. was born November 8, 1937 in Yorktown, Texas to Alfred and Malinda Buelter Hoehne. He attended and graduated from Yorktown High School. A.C. was employed with Central Power and Light Company from high school graduation until his retirement in 2000 after 45 years of service. He served as an auditor for CPL. A.C. was a member of the CPL Retiree Group, a longtime member of San Benito Lions Club, founding member of the San Benito Crime Stoppers and member of Grace Lutheran Church in Harlingen. He was very active with the CPL Retiree Group and enjoyed keeping up with his three granddaughters and all of their activities.
A.C. is survived by his daughter, Linda (Mitch) Thomas of Raymondville; granddaughters, Morgan Thomas, Lauren Thomas and Logan Thomas; brother, Franklin (Sheila) Hoehne of Houston, TX; and brothers-in-law, Charles Beken of New Braunfels and Milton (Vickie) Lee of Houston.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred & Malinda Hoehne; sister, Pearl Beken; and his wife of 50 years Wysonda Lee Hoehne.
Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at the funeral home from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM with the family present.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Mont Meta Memorial Park at 11:00 AM with Pastor Randy Nicholas officiating.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Dale Doty, Sidney Broyles, Rusty Uresti, Jim Gravett and Bruce Miller.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Grace Lutheran Church, 1001 E. Jackson St., Harlingen, Texas 78550.
