Alejandro Perez, Jr.

Alejandro Pérez, Jr., 72, peacefully passed from this life October 29, 2022. He was born June 25, 1950 in San Benito, Texas to the late Alejandro Pérez, Sr. and Felipa Hernández Pérez.

Alejandro was a graduate of Texas A&M University and St. Thomas University where he majored in Law. He was a career private security officer until his retirement. In his leisure time, he derived much joy in keeping watch over The Blessed Sacrament.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alejandro and Felipa H. Pérez; his paternal grandparents, Martin and Abundia Pérez; and his maternal grandparents, Benigno and Tiburcia Hernández.

Left to treasure Alejandro’s memory are his siblings, Antonia Pérez, Francisca Pardo, Mary Inéz Pérez, Irma P. Starling, and Roberto Pérez, Sr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place Wednesday, November 2, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home. A recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, November 3, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church. Rite of Committal and interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are José G. Pardo, Julius Pardo, Joseph Pardo, Michael N. Pardo, Charles Starling, and Roberto Pérez, Jr.
