Adela O. Tostado, 72, peacefully entered into eternal rest on January 6, 2016 at Valley Baptist Medical Center Harlingen.
Adela was born on December 29, 1943 to the late Guadalupe S. Ortega Sr. and Santos Ramos Ortega.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Andrea O. Juarez, Anita Ortega, Oralia O. Robles and her brother Guadalupe Ortega Jr. and her baby son Juan Carlos Tostado.
She is survived by her husband Taurino Tostado Sr. and her son Taurino Tostado Jr. (Amanda), her brothers Roberto Ortega, Celso (Malen) Ortega and Eleno (Ester+) Ortega, her sisters Aurora O. (Ramon+) Juarez, Marcelina O. (Marcelino) Marin, Dora Maria (J. Ricardo+) Gonzales, Ofelia (Alfredo) Torres, Matilde (Seferino) Rodriguez, grandchildren Logan, Kaitlyn, James, and Vivian Tostado, numerous nieces, nephews and a vast number of family members and friends who love her dearly.
Visitation for Adela will be held at San Benito Funeral Home from 3 p.m. – 9 p.m. on Friday January 8, 2016 with a holy rosary being recited at 7 p.m.
Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 10 a.m. at St Vincent de Paul Mission in Lozano, Texas with Father Rigoberto Poulang Mot officiating. Interment will follow at Anaquitas Cemetery in Rio Hondo, Texas.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Taurino Tostado Jr., Emilio Ortega, Victor Rodriguez, John Bruno Ortega, Michael Lucio Rodriguez, Redwin Rodriguez, and Logan Tostado.
Serving as an honorary pallbearer will be her husband Taurino Tostado Sr.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of San Benito Funeral Home, 1400 West Hwy.77, San Benito Texas 78586.
