El Ranchito, TX: Adan Carlos Hernandez, 75, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at his residence in El Ranchito, TX.
He was a parishioner of St. Ignatius Catholic Church and retired in 2003 from San Benito CISD after more than 25 years of faithful service.
Adan is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Palmira Hernandez; his children, Ernesto (Lorena) Hernandez, Esther (Blaz) Martinez, Adan (Rosa) Hernandez, Armando Hernandez, Palmira (Javier) Guzman, Pablo (Mari) Hernandez, Pedro Hernandez, Maria L. (Ernesto) Zapata, Rey (Veronica) Hernandez, Daniel Hernandez, Gregorio (Ana) Hernandez, and Marta (Orlando) Cantu; 27 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; along with a brother, Anastacio Hernandez; and a sister, Rosa Rodriguez.
Visitations will be held on Friday, November 25, 2011 from 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 P.M. at San Benito Funeral Home.
The funeral precession will depart San Benito Funeral Home on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 11:30 A.M. for a 12 Noon Funeral Mass at St. Ignatius Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Esparza Cemetery in El Ranchito.
Pallbearers will be his sons.
