Aaron Ruben Servellon

Aaron Ruben Servellon, 27, passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2018.

Aaron graduated in 2009 with High Five Honors from San Benito High School.  He received an Associates Degree from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, attended Texas Tech University, and was 21 hours from completing a Bachelors degree in Biology. He was awarded a full scholarship to Schreiner University in Kerrville, TX to complete his degree and was accepted into Schreiner’s Master’s degree program.  Aaron was employed as a Math and Science Tutor and was a certified life guard.

He loved swimming, gardening, gourmet cooking, karate, teaching others, and spreading joy and love by reassuring people they were special and unique.

Aaron was preceded in death by his grandfather, Alfonso Servellon; uncles, Joel De La Garza and Jose De La Garza; cousins, Roberto Ruiz and Terry Moore.

Left to treasure his memory are his parents, Ruben A. Servellon and Theresa De La Garza-Servellon; brother, Christian Servellon; maternal grandparents, Hector and Ninfa De La Garza; paternal grandmother, Irma Servellon; favorite aunt and uncle, Lori and Xavier Romero; and, numerous extended family members.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 from 7:00 to 8:00 PM at San Benito Funeral Home.

Memorial donations to honor Aaron may be Partnership for Drug-free Kids.
